Three men who made a drug sale inside a vehicle were arrested in Westbury when patrol officers noticed the deal Wednesday night, Nassau police said Thursday.
The officers saw Matthew Deluca, 27, joining Peter Ronga, 39, and Joakim Brochard, 40, in their vehicle about 6 p.m., police said.
After the three were arrested, officers discovered the painkiller oxycodone on Brochard and Deluca, and they seized marijuana and alprazolam, which combats anxiety, from Ronga, police said.StoryMan pleads guilty to violation after drug arrest
Deluca, of 83 Ava Dr., East Meadow, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. At arraignment Thursday, bail was set at $7,500.
Ronga, of Barnegat, N.J., was charged with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was arraigned Thursday and given a conditional release.
Brochard, of 400 Woodward Ave., Wantagh, was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and given an appearance ticket with a July 1 court date.
