The car was on the wrong side of the street, so officers stopped it Tuesday afternoon in Roosevelt, Nassau police said.
The officers found a black .40-caliber handgun "protruding from a handbag" on the floor of the 2001 Honda, police said Wednesday, and they arrested the three occupants, seizing a bag of marijuana, prescription medications and two gravity knives.
