Cops: 4 arrested in New Cassel street robbery

Officers responding to a 911 call reporting a street robbery Monday in New Cassel arrested four men, including one with an open warrant, police said.

The robbery took place near the intersection of Roman Avenue and Wright Street at 2:25 p.m., Nassau County police said. Police said the 18-year-old victim told them the four men "repeatedly struck" him, stealing cash before fleeing toward a white car with out-of-state plates.

Third Precinct officers saw the four suspects exiting the vehicle and arrested three of them.
