Nassau County police arrested three teens and a man after they used a pellet gun Wednesday in Baldwin to rob another teen of his cellphone.

First Squad detectives said the victim, 17, was walking north on Grand Avenue at about 8:20 p.m. when he was approached by two "male subjects," according to a news release.

They demanded the victim's cellphone, took it, then walked off, police said. The victim followed them and one of the suspects pulled out "a black handgun," the release said.

The victim called police and gave them a description of the Hyundai. Police responding to the scene stopped the vehicle and arrested all four occupants:

* Marcus Reid, 16, and Rahmesh Crosley, 17, both 736 Grand Ave., Baldwin.

* Markane Dixon, 16, and Ryankane Dixon-Harley, 22, both of 35B E. Pine St., Long Beach

Police said they recovered a black pellet gun and the victim's cellphone; there were no injuries.

Each suspect is charged with second-degree robbery and is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
