A 10-year-old boy swimming in the waters off the Cedarhurst Yacht Club in Lawrence sustained cuts to a leg after he came in contact with a boat's propeller Friday, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

The boy was rushed to a Far Rockaway hospital and was listed in serious condition, police said.

Officers were called to the club at 14 Daniel Cox Rd. at 2:20 p.m., police said.
