Cops: Church members meet thieves in music store
Members of a Uniondale church were shopping for replacement music equipment Wednesday when they happened upon their stolen gear. A pastor at New Jerusalem Church of Christ and members of the Sam Ash Music store in Carle Place worked together to help police catch the men suspected of stealing -- and trying to sell -- the church's gear. Members of a small Uniondale church were in a music store Wednesday looking to replace thousands of dollars of stolen equipment when they experienced what the pastor called "a miracle."
