An overnight fire that gutted an out-of-business restaurant in Bellmore has been called an arson, Nassau County police and fire officials said.
No one was injured in the blaze at the old Bar B Que Roadhouse at 1800 Bellmore Ave. around 1 a.m. Monday.
However, the restaurant suffered "extensive damage," police said, with the second story of the building "completely destroyed" by the fire.
