Cops: Four arrested in Massapequa with burglary tools, gun

Four people with burglary tools and a handgun in their car were arrested outside a Massapequa business early Tuesday morning, Nassau police said.

Plainclothes officers saw the car with four people near the side gate of LI Power Sports, 4116 Sunrise Hwy. at 2:10 a.m., and investigated, police said.

The officers noticed a bolt cutter and pry bar in the rear seat of the vehicle, police said, and searched further. They found a 9 mm handgun in the trunk, as well as numerous ski masks and gloves inside the car, police said.

Kysaan Goff, 17, of Uniondale Ave., Uniondale, Asia Brodas, 21, of President Street, Hempstead, Coren Fitzgerald, 21, of Mason Street, Hempstead, and Jesse Baldwin, 19, of Colonial Avenue, Freeport, were arrested.

All four, charged with criminal possession of a weapon and possession of burglar tools, were to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court, Hempstead.
