Police: Man Left Ailing Mom on Floor for Two Days
A Freeport assisted living employee who police said ignored his ailing mother for two days after she fell to the floor in the home they share was charged with reckless endangerment Friday.
Lacy Reid, 45, of 103 E. Dean St., faces up to 7 years in prison if convicted. He was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead and released on his own recognizance.
