A Great Neck bookkeeper was arrested and charged Friday in the theft of $300,000 from a Manhasset music school in which signatures were forged on company checks, Nassau County police said.

Linda Pilla, 53, of 93 Arleigh Rd., had worked for The Music Institute of Long Island in Manhasset since 1997, the department said, and used funds to make payments to herself and her credit card.
