Cops: Hicksville gas station robbed at gunpoint

Nassau police are searching for a man they said robbed a gas station attendant at gunpoint in Hicksville on Saturday afternoon.

The attendant, a 71-year-old man, was working at the Citgo Gas Station at 60 Jerusalem Ave., police said, when an armed suspect approached.

The suspect demanded money and the attendant gave the suspect an unknown sum of cash, police said.

The suspect fled on foot and headed west on Marie Street with a second suspect.

No injuries were reported, police said.
