A man who police said robbed a Levittown jewelry store in broad daylight Sunday and fled on foot was being hunted by authorities.
The robbery, reported about 1:30 p.m., occurred at Gold Buyers Levittown Inc., 3259 Hempstead Tpke. According to Nassau detectives, a man armed with a black revolver entered the business, demanded money from an employee and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
