Nassau police are looking for a man who robbed a Roslyn bank at gunpoint Thursday evening.

Detectives said a man with a beard and long black hair, wearing dark clothing and a hat, entered a Citibank branch at 1075 Northern Blvd. at 5:50 p.m. armed with a handgun and ordered the six bank employees onto the floor.

Police said the suspect forced a woman to open the door to the teller stations and then removed an unknown amount of cash. He then fled on foot to the north toward Northern Boulevard, police said. There were no customers in the bank at the time and no injuries were reported.

The same Citibank was robbed by a suspect wielding a shotgun in June, according to news reports. In that incident, five employees were working during the robbery, police said at the time, but no injuries were reported.
