Cops: Man shoots own hand at gun range
A 30-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the hand Monday at the Nassau County Rifle and Pistol Range in East Garden City, police said.
Nassau County police said the man was struck in the left hand by the bullet fired from his .22-caliber magnum bolt-action rifle at about 8:45 p.m.
The man, whose identity was not released, was taken to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow....
