Nassau County police are investigating a shooting early Saturday morning that left a man with a gunshot injury to his left thigh.
The shooting occurred at 1:40 a.m. at an undisclosed location in Island Park, police said. The victim was taken to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside.
His status is unknown and police did not disclose whether an arrest has been made in the case....
