Cops: Man with gun arrested while driving stolen car

A Roosevelt man armed with a 9-mm handgun was found driving a stolen car Tuesday in Uniondale, Nassau County police said.

Jason D. Jackson, 32, of 36 Prospect St., is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property after police stopped him driving a gray 2012 Range Rover near Prospect and Elizabeth streets about 5 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
