Cops: Nassau jail prisoner caught with oxycodone

A prisoner at the Nassau County jail in East Meadow was arrested on a felony contraband charge Wednesday afternoon when guards searched his cell and found two oxycodone pills, police said.

Adam Gibson, 29, of Merrick, was taken from the jail to Nassau Police Department headquarters in Mineola to be processed on a charge of first-degree promoting prison contraband.
