Two men who robbed a man on a street in Roosevelt early Monday were arrested moments later by two plainclothes officers who witnessed the entire incident, police said.

The robbery took place on Nassau Road at 1:33 a.m.

Nassau County police said the two officers, assigned to the First Precinct, witnessed the robbery -- and arrested Jose Holguin, 28, of 22 Union St., Freeport, and David Hodges, 17, of 611 Hill St., Uniondale, moments later.

Those arrests were made on Henry Street, police said.
