Cops: 'Pain relief' offered online was heroin

They posted an ad on Craigslist, citing pain relief for sale.

But, Nassau County police said, when the two New Jersey men arrived at the meeting place Monday in Bethpage, the "pain relief" they sold to undercover detectives was in the form of 40 bags of heroin.

Daniel Bigelow, 23, of West Jersey Street, and Gustavo Arce-Giron, 26, of West Field Avenue, both in Elizabeth, N.J., are under arrest on charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, police said. Both face arraignment Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Police said that after responding to the ad, undercover detectives arranged to meet the two Jersey men at a location on South Oyster Bay Road where they purchased the heroin with cash at 12:15 p.m.

The street value of the drugs was not released.
