Cops probe discovery of swastikas on Levittown sidewalk

Two swatiskas and anti-semitic remarks were found Tuesday drawn on the sidewalk near the Levittown Veterans Memorial Park, Nassau police said.

A Hempstead Town park supervisor found the 3-inch swatiskas and scrawlings in black magic marker, police said. The park is on Shelter Lane and Hempstead Turnpike.

Second Precinct detectives are investigating the case as a bias incident. Some of the drawings were faded, indicating they were not scrawled there recently, police said.
