A South Farmingdale man wanted in the August stabbing of his father has been arrested, police said Saturday.

Nassau police said, on August 30, Eric Georgoulakos, 23, was involved in a domestic dispute with his father, 53, whom he stabbed with a knife. When police arrived, Georgoulakos was no longer in their Grant Street house, having fled to a neighboring home where he stole a 2004 Chevrolet Trail Blazer, authorities said. The father was treated at a hospital.

Georgoulakos was in Queens County Court on Saturday on an unrelated charge, police said, when he was taken into custody.
