Cops seek two in Baldwin iPod robbery

A man walking in Baldwin was robbed at gunpoint early Monday by two men who fled with his iPod and other items, Nassau police said.

The man, 22, was walking south on Grand Avenue near Florence Street when the holdup occurred at 1 a.m., police said. The gunman demanded his property and the accomplice took the victim's BlackBerry cellphone, Apple iPod, a black The North Face backpack, his keys and cash, police said.

The two robbers took off in a green vehicle that went north on Grand Avenue, police said. Police said the gunman was 6 feet, 2 inches tall and his accomplice was 5 feet, 9 inches tall.

No injuries were reported, police said.
