Cops: Shooting involving Nassau, Queens

The Nassau County Police Department and NYPD are investigating an early morning shooting Friday that involves crime scenes in both Nassau and in Queens, officials said.

Nassau police said a 911 call reported the shooting at 4:49 a.m. -- and said one of the crime scenes involves a location on Fifth Street in Elmont.

Police have not released the identity of the shooting victim, whose condition is not known, or said whether a suspect is in custody..
