Five teens were arrested and charged with a paintball gun attack on a man and on a house late Friday night in Uniondale, Nassau County police said.

Additionally, police said three of the teens were charged in a related assault on Nov. 11 that caused a serious eye injury to a man in Roosevelt.

It was not immediately clear if the victims were targeted.

Adon Modesto, 19, of 42 Gates Ave., Brentwood, Juan Estrella, 18, of 218 East Greenwich Ave., Roosevelt, Fritz Joseph, 17, of 1076 Northgate Dr., Uniondale, Chucky Orellana, 17, of 64 Robinwood Ave., Uniondale, and Josue Rubert, 18, of 1089 Northgate Ct., Uniondale, were each charged with second-degree reckless endangerment.

Modesto, Estrella and Joseph also were charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the Nov. 11 incident, while Estrella also was charged with third-degree criminal mischief.

Police said the five teens were arrested in connection with the paintball gun incident on Cedar Street in Uniondale Friday at 11:45 p.m.

Police said in that incident the teens, traveling in a 2009 Honda, fired paintball shots at a 28-year-old man and also at a house, breaking a front window. The arrests followed a stop by Bureau of Special Operations officers on Baldwin Road in South Hempstead.

Police said an investigation revealed that Modesto, Estrella and Joseph were involved in the prior incident, which left a 47-year-old man with a serious injury to his left eye.

That attack took place at 2:50 a.m. on Nov. 11.

The five teens were arraigned Sunday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Arraignment details were not immediately available.
