Nassau police arrested three Uniondale men Tuesday just minutes after they punched a man in the face and knocked him to the ground to steal credit cards from his pockets, police said.

Daron Hill, 17, of 1043 Jerusalem Ave., Shalique Murray, 17, of 617 Hill St. and Andre E. Bonham, 20, of 1001 Smith St. are scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead Wednesday on two counts of second-degree robbery, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree identity theft, police said in a news release.

Police said the suspects were riding bicycles when they approached a 52-year-old man at Uniondale Avenue and Nassau Road and one of the suspects punched the victim in the face, knocking him down at about 3:40 a.m. They then went through his pockets and removed personal property and credit cards, police said.

Officers responded to the scene and found the victim with a cut under his eye, but as they were taking him to the hospital in an ambulance, they spotted the three men in a parking lot at 1050 Front St. in Uniondale, police said, and investigated.

Officers arrested the three without incident. Their attorneys could not be reached for comment.
