Cops: Tow-truck driver robbed in Uniondale

Two men, including one armed with a handgun, robbed a tow-truck driver in Uniondale on Saturday afternoon, Nassau County police said.

The tow-truck driver, 49, was operating his truck near Orchard Place at about 5:30 p.m. when two men came up to him, police said.

One of the men demanded cash and displayed a handgun, while the other climbed into the truck and took the driver's keys, cellphone...
