Two victims of a morning rush-hour accident in Valley Stream were airlifted to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow with undisclosed injuries Tuesday, officials said.

The crash occurred at about 6:20 a.m. on Green Acres Road near the Toys R Us store, Nassau County police said.

Additional details were not immediately available, and police said the investigation is continuing.

Police initially said only one person had been airlifted to NUMC, but a hospital spokeswoman later confirmed two patients, both men, had been taken there and admitted.
