Cops: Valley Stream hunter mistakenly shoots another hunter

A hunter from Long Island was in jail upstate Wednesday after he shot another hunter dressed in camouflage, thinking he was a deer, police said.
The victim was in critical condition after the Tuesday morning incident in a wooded area in the Town of Lumberland, state police said.
