Court hears Hempstead school board election dispute

Attorneys for Hempstead school board candidates challenging results of Tuesday’s election said they will file a complaint to state Education Commissioner John B. King Jr., after a state Supreme Court justice ruled on May 22, 2014, that the court does not have jurisdiction in the matter. Justice Arthur M. Diamond granted a temporary restraining order to preserve all records associated with the vote. (Credit: Howard Schnapp)
