DA: Contractor admits underpaying U.S. Open workers
When it came to paying its workers at the U.S. Open in Bethpage, a Brooklyn contractor bogeyed, Nassau prosecutors said Monday.
SB Waterproofing Inc. pleaded guilty Monday in Nassau County Court to failing to pay more than $70,000 in wages to employees who renovated facilities at Bethpage State Park before the prestigious golf tournament held there in June.
