All eastbound lanes have reopened on the Long Island Expressway after a truck overturned Monday afternoon in Jericho, according to the state Department of Transportation and Nassau County police.

The state website, informny.com, said the truck overturned near Exit 40, Jericho Turnpike, at about 2:23 p.m., closing all but the HOV lane.

Other details were not immediately available as Old Westbury Village police remained at the scene at about 8 p.m. to investigate the accident.

DOT cameras at the website showed traffic backed up from Exit 40 to Exit 39, Glen Cove Road.
