Nigerian dwarf goats are originally from West Africa and typically grow to 50 pounds, about the size of a medium dog.

Their coats come in a variety of colors: At the Norman J. Levy Park and Preserve, Sleepy's is white and brown, Happy's is tan, Doc's and Sneezy's are black, and Bashful's is black with large white spots.

When Nigerian dwarf goats give birth, most often they have twins, but they can also have triplets and quadruplets.

These goats are very active: Shortly after birth they can walk, and after a day or two they are able to bounce and jump.
