It was a scene from Kevin O'Brien's dreams. He's walking off the 15th green at Bethpage Black during the U.S. Open to applause from the crowd.
"All right!" yelled one fan.
"Great job!" shouted another.
Saturday, it really happened - except O'Brien, a volunteer for Bethpage Black's U.S. Open grounds crew, had just finished preparing the 15th green for the third round of play....
