Fifth teen convicted in 2007 Nassau robbery spree
The last member of a teenage band of robbers has been convicted of his part in a 2007 crime spree targeting younger teens, prosecutors said Tuesday.
After deliberating less than an hour, a jury convicted Yveson Elie, 20, of Franklin Square, of six counts of second-degree robbery, prosecutors said. He faces up to 15 years in prison when he is sentenced Dec. 18.
