GOP poised to win 2 NY Supreme Court seats

Two Republican judges last night took a pair of contested seats on the State Supreme Court bench in Nassau, while the four cross-endorsed candidates garnered easy bicounty victories.
Nassau District Court Judge Robert Bruno, 53, of Wantagh, and incumbent State Supreme Court Justice Thomas Phelan, 64, of Oceanside, won over two Democratic candidates.
