GOP should keep Long Beach City Council control
Republicans look set to retain control of the Long Beach City Council providing election night results stand in the tight race.
The GOP needed to win just one of the three City Council seats up for grabs in Tuesday's elections to retain control of City Hall. Among the six candidates - three Republicans and three Democrats - the top three voter-getters win office on the 5-member board.
