Maybe not all politics is local.

At least that's what Janine Maloney, 33, was thinking when she walked into her Oceanside polling station Tuesday. Like voters in New Jersey, Virginia and an upstate New York congressional district who turned against the reigning political party, Maloney cast her ballot for Republicans and against the current establishment in Nassau.
