The Long Island Rail Road is back on or close to schedule after a broken crossing gate at New Hyde Park caused several train delays Wednesday morning, the railroad said.

Delays through Mineola were as long as 10 minutes because of the gate issue in New Hyde Park, as trains moved slower than normal because of speed restrictions.
