Lynbrook saves on interest with new credit rating
Lynbrook Village's bond rating got a boost after a credit-rating agency praised its surplus and some new budget practices, among other factors.
The ranking, AA, is third-highest among 21 categories of credit risk assigned by Standard & Poor's. Lynbrook last sought a bond rating in 2006 from Moody's, which assessed the bonds at A-1, the fifth-highest ranking of 20.
