A Bethpage man was arrested and charged with public lewdness after he exposed himself to two women and a teenage girl sitting by a pool last month in Westbury, police said.

Mario Kot, 56, of 669 Broadway, was arrested Tuesday after an investigation and was charged with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child, Nassau County police said. He faces arraignment Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Police said the victims, ages 29, 28 and 14, were seated poolside at an apartment complex on Corporate Drive at about 2:15 p.m. Aug. 23 when Kot, who was about 10 feet away, exposed himself through the mesh of a deck chair.

The two women and the teen, whose identities were not released, then notified a lifeguard, police said. But, police said, Kot fled the scene in a 2012 Toyota Camry before any action could be taken.

It was not immediately clear what led detectives to Kot, and it was not clear why Kot was at the apartment complex.
