Man charged in assault, robbery of Valley Stream pharmacist
A Valley Stream pharmacy was robbed Thursday night by a masked man wearing latex gloves who pistol-whipped a pharmacist before stealing prescription drugs, police said.
A suspect was arrested about an hour later, and police charged Nicholas Inslee, 28, of 7 Cammerer Ave., East Rockaway, with robbery, assault and resisting arrest. Police learned after the arrest his weapon was a BB gun.
