Nassau County police did not detail the amount of cash taken. Police said the victim was not injured in the robbery.

Police said the victim was walking in front of the bookstore when the two assailants, both believed to be in their 20s, approached, attacked him and removed the cash from his left pocket. The two then fled south on Duncan Avenue in a Nissan Maxima, police said.

Police said one of the robbers wore a black hooded sweatshirt and camouflage pants. The other wore black jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt, police said.
