Nassau County police are investigating an armed robbery in Lynbrook on Saturday night during which the victim's SUV was stolen.

There were no reported injuries.

Police said the incident occurred about 11:55 p.m. when the victim, identified by police only as a 19-year-old man, parked his car on Lawrence Avenue to meet a new acquaintance.

The 19-year-old woman who he was meeting and who authorities believe was involved in the robbery setup, directed him to the front door of a house and then redirected him to the driveway, police said. Suddenly, an unknown man appeared from behind a bush and pointed a silver semiautomatic handgun at the victim. He ordered the victim to the corner of the house and to get down on the ground and the victim complied.

Police said another unknown man then approached the victim and removed the victim's car keys from his pocket and his cellular telephone from his hand and demanded the victim's designer belt.

The robber with the handgun demanded the victim's sneakers, the police report added. All three suspects fled in the victim's vehicle. The victim ran to the Mill River Tavern to call police.

Proceeds included a 2006 black Jeep Grand Cherokee, a gold-colored iPhone, a pair of orange and brown trimmed Balenciaga sneakers and a designer belt with a large gold-colored letter M on the buckle.

The woman was described as heavy set, wearing pink shorts and a black hoodie shirt.

The man with the gun was described as wearing dark colored shorts and a white hoodie shirt.

The other robber was described as about age 20, tall, wearing dark colored shorts and a dark colored hoodie shirt.
