A gunman robbed an East Meadow clothing store Monday, tying together the hands of two employees and two customers, then escaping with an unspecified amount of cash, Nassau County police said.

A man with a black handgun entered the Mandee store at 1976 Hempstead Tpke. about 3:30 p.m., police said.

Displaying a black handgun, the man demanded cash from the two employees.

After getting the cash, the man tied together the hands of the two employees, both women, and the two customers, also women, ages 57 and 59, and forced them to the floor in a backroom.

He then left through the front door.
