Melville man killed in crash on Southern State
A Melville man was killed Wednesday when he crashed into an overpass on the Southern State Parkway in North Wantagh, state police said. Allan Maddaleno, 57, was driving west at "a high rate of speed" at 11:22 a.m. Wednesday when he ran into the Wantagh Avenue overpass at Exit 28, a state police spokesman said.
