A schoolteacher from Merrick, arrested earlier this summer on a charge of raping a 15-year-old girl in Suffolk, now faces new charges in Nassau of sexual misconduct with two more underage girls.

Police say Daniel Rothbard, of Meadowbrook Avenue, surrendered Thursday morning to face charges of criminal sexual act, a felony, and two counts of child endangerment.
