Only days after its release, officials concede Nassau County's new iPhone app has a major hiccup.

First-time users of the mobile software are asked to register their personal information so they can get up-to-date information about upcoming events, news alerts and traffic advisories. The app can also be used to file complaints or concerns about problems in their neighborhood.
