Nassau closes 10 North Shore beaches after rains
Recent heavy rainfall caused the Nassau County Department of Health to close 10 North Shore beaches Wednesday. Two other Nassau beaches remain closed due to "elevated" bacteria levels. Six other North Shore beaches are closed because they are not currently operating Monday through Friday.
