Two Nassau County cops were honored by the county Monday, June 19, 2017, for saving a suicidal man during what was meant to be a routine traffic stop in Island Park.  On Jan. 2, officers Thomas Mulligan and Anthony Uvena were on duty, when they spotted a Ford pickup truck weaving in and out of traffic as it sped toward the Long Beach Bridge.
