Nassau police say they are searching for three men in connection with a robbery Saturday afternoon in Rockville Centre.

Police said the victim, a 22-year-old male, met an acquaintance on Shellbank Place at about 2:50 p.m. After the men chatted briefly, police said, two more men pulled up in a gray Infiniti G37. The victim began to run, police said, but was stopped by the three men in the rear of a Shellbank Place home. The three men punched the victim, then took his iPhone and cash, police said.

The cash was eventually recovered in the yard, police said.

The victim suffered minor injuries but declined medical attention at the scene, police said.
